The European Commission has released specific rules for official controls at products of animal origin intended for human consumption.

The Trichina microscope is usable for investigations of trichina in meat.\

• Compressorium (crushing glass), consisting of two seperate glass plates (one of them is devided in fields which have the same size (counting chambers))

With the continuously adjustable halogen lamp the picture brightness can be matched for any preparation. The binocular tubes give the advantage of nonfatiguing microscopy with both eyes. The coarse and fine drive permits an exact focus setting even at high magnification levels.
